Types of Diabetes
You must know the type of diabetes to get the treatment accordingly. An individual is more likely to develop three major forms of diabetes: Type 1, Type 2, & Gestational Diabetes.
Type 1 Diabetes: Type 1 diabetes is also referred to as Juvenile diabetes. It takes place when the body is unable to produce adequate insulin. It doesn’t take place due to an inactive lifestyle, and the underlying cause of this ailment hasn’t been determined yet. This means that the person needs artificial Insulin for survival.
Type 2 Diabetes: Type 2 diabetes refers to the body’s ability to utilize Insulin. The human body produces the necessary amount of insulin, but the cells don’t respond to insulin as they used to. Research indicates that a person with Type 2 diabetes leads to obesity.
Gestational Diabetes: During Gestational Diabetes, the body becomes less sensitive to Insulin. Not all women struggle with Gestational diabetes. This condition usually resolves after giving birth.
